I was of the Urban Terror Colombia member, and the all players now no have time for playing UrT because are working or studying.for the moment there a little selection from colombia for play the leagues.returning to the most important, yes the game will go to have some new changes like the UrT HD, Animations, Weapons, Maps and more.(you can see the proyect and videos about how it's the animation made by Frankie V). Urban Terror is not dead!, yes some communities leave from UrT, but no for the game I think! Yes, will go to have changes and new things! The development is to slow to be interesting for the majority of people so they left.
The game dies (and is almost like dead compared to the game only few years ago) and most ppl have left it. Iranian F-14s vs UFOs: urban legend or weird drones in action over Iranian nuclear plants NovemIran, Troubled Areas. So many memories in every map, it just saddens me that there is so few players.
I was getting all nostalgia when i was playing CTF in the old maps i used to love. Damn, this depresses me so much, easily my favorite game i played as a teenager. This game is amazing, if more people knew about it, it would get so much hype. Why did it die down over the years? What happened to all the people who used to play this game? One of the current developper of the game was even in my team for a while. The creators need to do something to give it some publicity. No bomb, or zombie servers? I'm seriously concerned about the future of UrT.

And the game was just packed with people every single day.įorward 2015, i have a new PC and i download this game, and its almost dead? What the heck happened? The only servers available are some CTF or TDM servers.
#URBAN TERROR HD VS FULL#
Like the uptown b00b server was always full of people. And countless other servers that were always full. Back then in 4.1, there was sooo many servers, there was pistols n spaz bomb mode which was my favorite. I, personally am used to shooting "from the side" (or whatever you call it), anyway, so it really wouldn't matter to me whether or not FS decides to add iron sight aiming in HD.I haven't played Urban Terror for i think around 5 years. Valve apparently seems to be taking a massive gamble with the inclusion of game console support in the release I just hope that the 360/PS3 owners who are used to playing FPSes like CoD or BF, won't go absolutely AWOL due to the lack of iron sight-based aiming.
#URBAN TERROR HD VS PLUS#
Very well put,BladeKiller, plus unlike GO (and all other versions of CS before it), the FS devs busted their behinds to see to it that all computer users, Windows, Mac AND Linux, were able to all play together. We don't have a big company bankrolling us or helping us so we are at a disadvantage but we have more control over our lives and dev work. I went in and played several maps just to get this many shots, I. Some of the AQ2 community members got together and developed UrT when Q3 came out. Just more of my amateur game playingI never use SR8, I never do any sniping as you can see. The Action Q2 dev team went to Valve and developed CS. I can't tell, I've only played CS for 3 hours and got bored, but both development teams seems to do exactly what they need for their beloved gameĪnd the last one: "Who lives in the pineapple under the sea?"īoth games were developed at the same time and both have their roots in Action Q2 so neither is a clone of the other. Wasn't sure if I should post this here or in off-topic, but since it is Urban Terror related, I think it should do fine here. So for the question of: "which game seems to show the most promising results as of this moment?" You can see that both has gone the same steps forward, but UrT is also catching up when you're talking about the features ( don't read this as: UrT is a CS clone -_- )Ībout : "What things do you believe either game should really improve on?" But then we also add the facts of Anti-cheat and other cool stuff, they've put in, yes CS has it too, through steam VAC or steam overlay, but they already had it in the last installments. It get's a facelift too, which is more a beautiful side-effect of the improved engine (hmm. Urban Terror HD doesn't (of what I know, again)) have any real change to gameplay, neither do they change/extend the wapon loadout that much more (more than CS, but still). CS:GO does not (of what I know) change anything of the gameplay, since it's good as it is (sounds familiar right ? :D ), but it's only a facelift + old maps included together with one new weapon.
